Radeon 9550 Clock Speed

I have a Gecube R9550U-C3H. When I read in the magazines or computer tabloids, the core and memory clock of the Radeon 9550 was 400. But my 9550 core clocked at 419MHz and the memory clock is just 196MHz. Is something wrong at my VGA? Please explain. Answer: Your core (400 Mhz) is generally the standard clock from ATI. VGA manufacturers sometimes deliberately raise or lower clock with performance and stability reasons. And it seems the clock is still OK. Moreover, its core clock is above standard, right? For the memory clock, the VGA could also be on display as the original clock, not DDR. So 196MHz x 2 = 392 MHz. Dont misunderstand. This is still normal. Then why is 196MHz not 200MHz? In the end it depends on the quality of the memory chip on your VGA card. If the one you got is at 196MHz, others can get a 203MHz, 210MHz or alias the memory clock is at 420MHz DDR. If you want to return to a safe position, use programs like ATITool or ATITrayTool. Download them at www.guru3d.c...

Upgrading my PC

I have a computer at home that is rarely used. I want this computer can be used to edit videos from camcorders plus playing games such as F1 2000, MotoGP, and others. For information, the computer's specifications is as follows: • ECS K7S5A Motherboard • AMD Athlon XP processor 1700 + • Memory 256MB SDRAM Visipro • VGA S3 Trio 4MB (This plan would replace ane) • 80GB Seagate Harddisk The board supports SDRAM and DDR. Which one is the better? The board also supports AGP 4x and I want to upgrade my S3 Trio graphic cars. With an inexpensive AGP card. Any suggestion? Answer: SDRAM is already expensive at the moment. If you still can find any. It's better for you to use the DDR. If you want to edit videos, you need a big RAM capacity and fast processor. The Athlon that you have now is a bit sluggish for video editing software. I understand that S3 Trio AGP 2x, which may be used motherboard supports AGP 2x/4x so it would not matter that VGA fitted. It's better fo...

I'm planning to reinstall my PDA, HP iPAQ 6365. But so far I do not know how to reinstall my PDA. Please explain me how to reinstall a PDA correctly? Because my warranty is up. Same memory but not working

I just upgraded the memory of my PC. Earlier in the existing computer, the memory Visipro brand with PC-3200 DDR 512MB. When upgrading, I bought something similar. But, instead of dual channel, I dont even get any display at the monitor after new memory installed. When I install them separately, the system runs normal with any of them. The problem I got is only when the memory is paired together. Answer: Even with the same brand, chipset and its configuration must be seen first. To check the specifications of the memory chips installed, look at the code at the memory's IC. Installation of the modules also affects whether or not dual-channel feature will available. Usually the configuration is a slot 1 to slot 3 or slot in and slot 4, could also between slot 1 with slot 2 and slot 2 and slot 3. Check the motherboard's manual. If the problem is still occurs, exchange the old memory with the same. After all, lifetime warranty and DDR Memory PC-3200 is also still in circulat...

This hard drive is now installed only has the speed 5400rpm. If I want to pair it with a 7200 rpm notebook hard drive, can it be? What impact that will occur later in the notebook? Answer: Should be. You still can pair the notebook hard disk capacity of 120 or 160GB for example, in the notebook. Install the internal hard disk 2.5 "in the notebook is also not a problem. I just bought a used hard drive, a Maxtor brand hard drive with capacity of 40GB. I've tried to install, but not detected. I have the data cable plug in the slave position, and I also set the jumper on cable select position. My power cable is correctly plugged for sure. Proved when turned on, there was a sign of vibration motor in it. Why is it a ittle hot? Also why not detected? Answer: Try your hard drive set to master first. Single pairs only (without the second hard disk or slave). Once activated, check if the hard drive can still be detected or not? Your motherboard do support the hard drive above 8.4GB or 36GB right? Unfortunately you do not mention the motherboard chipset used. But the latest motherboard chipset is usually no longer have the problem. If still not detected, too, probably the hard drive is not functioning. If the heat is from the power cable, there may be a loose power cable or something. Please check again thek cables. If the hard drive is hot, it was ...
